Some people have to think about gifts given or received, but not Dr. Kao the famous plastic surgeon who has touched the faces of many we will never know.
When asked what the best gift is, given or received, he knew immediately. As I was sitting in a consult for the patented Pony-tail lift, “It’s easy. This. When pressed if he’s a good receiver he demurred, “Oh I don’t know.” I asked if it was hard for family and friends to give to him because he has such a sensitive eye and aesthetic. Yes, I think it is they say, “We don’t know what to get you.”
